"The next time you feel like wrapping your favorite golf club around the nearest tree, turn it into a creative curtain rod instead.
First, cover the window with a custom arched Duette shade to provide privacy and protect against glare and damage from the sun. Suspend the golf club upside down and at an angle with cup hooks, one just under the head and one just above the grip. Place a metal clamp-on cafe ring at each pleat of a panel of lined drapery, then put the golf club through the rings, holding them in place on the shaft of the club with double-sided tape. Attach white or color-coordinated tees to the double-sided tape on the club to disguise the tape and keep the cafe rings in place.
Pull the drapery panel to the other side of the window and place it in a tieback bracket installed with the open end facing up. Wrap two tassel tiebacks in colors that complement the curtain, stand back and admire your handiwork.
Disclaimer: No golf club was harmed in the process of creating this window treatment. Who knows? You might have a change of heart and want to give the club another shot at getting you to the green.
This unique window treatment was created by Pat Loop of Unique Image and Linda Howard of Designer Golf Gifts for a showhouse in St. Petersburg, Florida." - Annual Golf Issue - Carolina Homes and Interiors
